Description
This bowl is one of my series which incorporate yarn into the outside for a decorative touch and to provide added stability. The decorative scroll work emphasizes the difference in color while providing even more stability. The bowl is made by wrapping narrow strips of quilting fabric around a cotton cording and then machine stitching to form the bowl. The decorative scrolling is then hand stitched. This is a one of a kind item which can be both functional as well as decorative. It will add a splash of color to any decor. The price includes handling and shipping.
All Baskets are made in my, smoke-free, and fragrance-free home studio in either Herndon, Virginia or Starboard, Maine. All work is closely supervised from a discreet distance by my half Maine coon cat, Jasper.
